"...sucks..." is the word I was thinking of....but then again,
maybe not, as I really enjoyed learning PL-SQL when working with
Oracle, and I liked T-SQL with SQL Server recently too. So, I take
that back. It sucks when you need it right away, but if you've got
time, it can be cool!
One of the things I hear most often from people who have started
working in Python was just how short a period it took to not feel
like a newbie anymore. Sure, there's always more to learn, but it is
amazing how quickly people can start being productive in Python.
