I created a VIEW connected to a MicroSoft SQL 2005 Database Table. I then created a form with the next/previous/add/edit. buttons.
I fixed the VIEW so that it would update the fields in the sql database. All works great except when I leave a field blank and save and then go back and go to that record the blank field has "null" in it. I know why this is but how do I fix it in the form so that it does not do it? What else can I expect while learning SQL and FoxPro 9? Do I have to set a default date in my start up program like _startdate"01/01/1901 01:01:01" ??
