OK, I keep all my messages in the table, none in the code so I only have to search one place. However I also have a tool which searches all files in a project, whether it's a code file or a table (or vcx or scx - which are tables anyhow).

While it does the job, it requires a table. That hides what would otherwise be some code. This is an important point. I often search my code when planning changes. If I have some of my messages in .prg and some in a table, it makes it awkward to search.
