I wouldn't go for too high a resolution. I find a lot of clerical staff
have cheap 15" screens and have boosted their resolution to 1024x768 or
even 800x600 and larger screens present problems.
Also, you had mentioned Win8Pro tablets. At least at the low end and/or
portrait mode, I'd be worried about the minimal resolution.
