I deleted the VCX from the MyStuff folder. So - 1st time around - now even
when testing on my C: drive - I get the error about can't find VCX in the
MyStuff folder. I then removed that Resizer object I dropped on the Form,
and this time - I directly Drag&Dropped it from the Class within the
Project. Now - although I still get the same error "... can't find VCX" -
but, strangely enough - it claims:
        Cannot find C:\Libs\mwresize.vcx

In fact - its located here:
        c:\aims401w_04\libs\mwresize.vcx

So - that Libs folder is NOT at the root of C: drive like the error thinks
it should be!

Lastly - you suggested I recompile the VCX - but, when I ran this line:
        compile c:\aims401w_04\libs\mwresize.vcx

I get error msg.: Cannot create file c:\aims401w_04\libs\mwresize.vcx.

TIA 4 Ur Help!

Nah.

I assume you have a standard location where you keep your class libraries
for this project. Instead of referring to the location where you put
mwresize, make a copy of the library and put it with the rest of your stuff.
Make sure the copy of the class you added to your form(s) is from that
location. Recompile the library just for fun and make sure you include it in
your project.

Ouch - that Definitely SUCKS - especially the Tedium as to HOW you have to
nail down the problem.

But, at least it might make you feel better - that I TOO am now having
problems with the ReSize thingy...

Yeah. Kaboom. C5 memory error completely crashing VFP after I hit whatever
control its puking on. I'm narrowing it down but it's tedious and of course
until I do find out what it doesn't like I have to kill VFP, restart, loop
through...

So - rk - you mean you tried it - and you got errors immediately?

I had looked at this class briefly years ago but never went far enough with
it to see how it might work with my stuff. All the chatter here made me
decide to take another look. While anchors have done the job for basic
resizing, the font scaling is the piece I miss the most. So of course I'm
testing it with my most complex form. It's got pretty much every type of
object on it including pageframes and grids and visual controls added at
runtime, etc.

Let's just say that debugging a resizer class is not fun...
