Hey Mike - I totally hear ya.

Those of us in the Graphics world - have wondered why 3D CG hasn't taken off
more than it has. Sure, its in Ads on TV, in Movies & Video games - but, its
not really used a lot in Business. And, it seems that it should be. Of
course, for specific reason - not JUST as Eye-Candy.

So - yeah - when they start getting all 2D looking - flat colors - stuff
like that - it sure DOES look Old-School to me as well!

Yes, I'm talking about the Win8 look to EVERYTHING.  (Not the video)

Reminds me of when EVERYTHING from M$ was dubbed Dot Net.  Office.Net, 
Studio.Net, Bob.Net.  (Ok, the last one was a joke...lol)
