My desk in my home office doubles as a dining table. Over a period of
several years the mouse has absorbed it's share of spills and now the
scroll wheel is gummed up with a variety of dried sauces, drinks and
gravies.
Any ideas on how to wash it? Doesn't seem to be any way to take it
apart. Logitech optical USB . . .
Hope this helps:

Not at first, different model - but then I noticed what I thought was
part of the lower case was actually a label, and under it - the screw.
Once inside, 7 or 8 years worth of buffalo wing sauce mixed with hair
and dust wrapped around the scroll wheel - couldn't turn it without
clicking it. Soaking in the sink for a while, seems to be coming loose.
Took the circuit board out first, of course.
Thanks!
