Well it has been an interesting few weeks...

I'm sure there isn't anyone who is receiving this that needs to be
reminded that you should keep your domain registration information up to
date so you get a reminder to a live email address when the credit card
you use for automatic renewal expires so your site doesn't go down on
the day everyone decides to book a ticket for your conference. Just us
then? Worse, we also discovered that a number of people have emailed us
while we were down and all those emails have just disappeared. If you
are waiting on a response from us on anything, please resend.

As a number of people have quite rightly pointed out, this has made
booking the *Super Early Bird Discount*
<http://businessofsoftware.org/delegates/> a little problematic though
we have set a record for registrations already which we are very excited
about. We have given you a little more time - *till 31st March* - and
some information about some of thefirst batch of speakers
<http://businessofsoftware.org/> to be confirmed to help you decide -
some familiar faces and some not so familiar but we are working to make
sure that everyone who speaks will bring something inspiring and
something actionable for your business. More to be confirmed in the near
future.

If you go down to the BoSblog today...

Here are all of last year's Lightning Talks
<http://businessofsoftware.org/2013/03/all-the-lightning-talks-from-business-of-software-conference-2012/>.
A stunningly high level of quality across all of the talks and every one
worth watching. The one that has changed my life the most was in fact
not the winning talk by Joel Worrall, it was Brock Armstrong's talk on
Software for Software Nerds. I know I am not the only person who now has
a trash can on my desk where my laptop sits in lieu of an expensive
standing desk. Do send us pictures of your standing desk and we might
put up a post with some of the most creative solutions.

Do we need a, 'Code of Conduct'
at Business of Software Conference? Personally, I think that one of the
things that makes Business of Software so special for all is the
extraordinary respect that people show for one another. We would be
interested in your views if you feel strongly either way but this is my
personal opinion.

We also have been slightly overwhelmed with questions about BoSthat we
thought could be answered in a blog post for all to see so if you want
to know about sponsorship opportunities, startupdiscounts, student help,
guest blogging, speaking etc, please take a look here
<http://businessofsoftware.org/2013/03/business-of-software-conference-2013-faqs-guest-blogs-speaking-sponsoring-deals/>.

We hope to see you at BoS2013.
