It does not speak to the value of the idea but nevertheless dampens the
enthusiasm of anyone who might be amenable to it.  You two have given up

No, I'm just not getting false hopes up....I think it's being REALISTIC. But who knows...life has been not easy this year, so I'll definitely agree that I'm perhaps cynical. ;-)

Things change.  Things are changing.  Just because something didn't work
three years ago, or even yesterday, does not mean it cannot work
tomorrow.

If VFP were sold off to a viable purchaser, would you be happy or upset?
