Florida was nice. Did 6 years in mayport, most of that in the Mediterranean when I was in the navy. 56 on this end.
Wouldn't be going to college except for the GI BILL money as I believe a person can learn anything if they want too without doing it through a formal institution. I need to get me a bike as I gained about 40 lbs with all the stress the last few years. -----Original Message----- From: ProFox [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pete Theisen Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2013 3:00 PM To: ProFox Email List Subject: Re: [NF] On 04/16/2013 03:39 PM, Virgil Bierschwale wrote: > Nope, I get 1,564 per month from the GI Bill and it costs me 875 per > month to pay for the course This is for one year. > I am attending for two years so I have about 11 months left to figure > out how to pay for the final year. If you will be 60 next year transfer to Florida and get the free classes. You have to live here, but if you like it in the sticks it is fairly cheap. If you want to take Linux, Hillsborough Community College is the only choice, but the professor is top drawer. http://www.hccfl.edu/dm.aspx http://content.hccfl.edu/pollock/#Syl I rode my bike 57 miles one way back and forth from Sarasota 2 or 3 days a week. 60mpg, but limited to 60mph. Oh, well. Sucked if it rained. Traffic made it a 2 1/2 hour ride. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
