DOSBox run a 16bit Clipper app I needed on a 64-bit machine.
Didn't test it well though, I just needed to extract data from a
proprietary backup format.

I have used DOSBox for years.

It works fine for using WordStar 2000. I have only just recently gone to VDE (a WordStar rather-compatible).

The speed does not matter that much in WordStar as it is not doing much. With my utilities, it is definitely a case of the faster, the better. With native XP running my search utilty FIFTEEN times faster than my Windows 7 laptop run it under DOSBox, that is a significant difference.

Sincerely,
