It's installed on my laptop's C: drive. The File Locations are set
correctly. I tried the other suggestion passed along earlier, but it didn't
work.

I may try reinstalling VFP, and if that doesn't work, just using online
help. But that would be a pain if I'm somewhere where I don't have internet
access.

Am I the only one having this issue? Are others able to see the help text in
VFP 9 on Windows 8?

I think there were changes made for .CHM files that they can only be run
off of a local drive (drive C:) and not off a network drive.   Even if you
have VFP installed on a network drive, copy the .CHx files to a folder on
your drive C: and point the setting under Options, FIle Locations to where
you put it.
