Let's say U have a field that 4 char's wide. If you use a PICT Command on
the GET - and define exactly 4 char's in the PICT - then that should do it -
as when the user enters in 4 char's - it should automatically go to the next
field. Same way on a Screen Form in VFP, but, not PICT - rather, you use the
Format or InputMask - I forget which - but, one of those is essentially
working like the PICT from the FPD days...

IHTH,

Subject: VFP6: Basic cursor behavior Question

Good Morning,

This absolutely baffles me. In a read, waiting on several fields what is
the behavior called that moves the cursor to the next field (with out a
tab) when it is filled in. Old VFP6 app, normal behavior is for the
cursor to advance. Have two users where this isn't happening .... 8-(

Set confirm on?

TIA,
Desmond
