Are you sure that your 3.5 is a SATA drive? According to our friends at wikiedia: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA#Cables.2C_connectors.2C_and_ports> "Unlike PATA, the same connectors are used on 3.5-inch (89 mm) SATA hard disks for desktop or server computers and 2.5-inch (64 mm) disks for portable or small computers." So, if a 2.5" SATA drive works OK, then the connections should be good for a 3.5" SATA drive as well. dt -- Dave Thayer Denver, CO _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CAAo+qoU7-Ddzug+WUDVeB0=_xpoqds4dyf5ocoj0-jnq3zj...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
