I agree that practically anything and everything can be hacked into, eventually, with enough effort and intelligence, but at some point we all have to take a risk, suck it up, and step outside the front door. Balance the risk vs. reward as best you can, given a valid understanding of the consequences and risks, and let 'er rip, tater chip!

This is another reason I feel fine with my VFP/MySQL approach, despite the outcry from others for web services. Granted the WS approach might be like Fort Knox, but my local bank's safe is good too. ;-)
