Not picking on you in particular, Kurt, just picking up on the thread. We all have our families to feed, our priorities on how to spend our money. So, don't think these comments are personal. When we were actively developing VFP, Laura and I attended at least one conference a year, 1993-2004, and sometimes as many as five (!) and never, never did we feel a single one was a waste of the money we spent. In nearly every session, we would walk away with new knowledge we could apply to a customer situation or solve an existing issue. The contacts we made helped us reach out for help and support and brought in business. Professionals attend professional conferences. If professionals don't support conferences, they'll stop, and the profession will be the worse for it. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cacw6n4v7+x1jou98vnjr71b8_rbxswjfxepqx2fd3k6u6tm...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
