The data is used to help us name our foals.

We are using Godaddy;s "Easy Database" product to allow end users to enter
name suggestions for foals out of our mares each year (we have around
325-350 foals each year and naming them can be a PIA).

Godaddy is eliminating this product the end of June so we're working on an
in-house replacement.

First and Last name fields are for the person submitting the suggested
"foalname", along with an email address so we can get back to them, and
damname is the name of the foals dam (mother) so we can attach the suggested
names to the appropriate mare (mother).

We get literally thousands of suggested names each year.

Users whose names are accepted are contacted and are given a copy of the
foals papers which show the foal's new name.

Are you listing a horse or an owner? The cross over of data confuses me.

If you put a value in Foal is there no name in Dam and that defines sex of
horse, or is that parents names?
