I have a mature VFP9 application running on Windows 7. My customer got
a new Windows 7 machine. When importing an XLS spreadsheet the
application comes to a screeching halt with the informative message:
ARX.EXE has stopped working. Windows will try to find a solution
online.
I haven't heard back from them but I haven't checked the mail box
today. Sheesh!
I Googled it and it said something about setting the Data Execution
Prevention off for that program, which I did and it does not change
anything.
What have these guys done now?!?
This same program works on all Windows 7 machines except for this one!!!
The line of code that is failing is:
APPEND FROM (lcspreadsheet) TYPE XL5
