Try eliminating the caption from the checkbox, then establish the centered
property to .t. (VFP9 only),specialeffect = 1 (plain), remove the textbox
from the column, set the column's sparse property to false and then reduce
(or enlarge) the column width, removing the caption from the column header
as well. I do this all the time and it works quite well

Subject: VFP9: Grid Column Width
Silly issue I'm sure.
Got a grid, populated with data from a table, all is good got the column
widths the way I want them. Added a final column utilizing a logical field
tied to a checkbox. Looks great, however no matter what I do the column is
displayed the same width as the checkbox???
Any suggestions??
TIA,
Desmond
