Gee, unless I'm misunderstanding your question, you would use the
mouseenter and mouseleave events that are designed into most of the VFP
standard controls.

I use them a lot to give my application a look and feel of a browser
application.

Subject: What is this control ?

Hi all

Can anybody tell me what kind of control is at the left side of a
windows open file dialog (the one with buttons for "My computer" etc
that respond to mouse-over events) - and how can this control best be
replicated in VFP(9) ?

Tx
