I was trying to install SqlServer Express 2008 R2 in a client's Windows
7 Home Premium machine.
I downloaded the Spanish language version (32 bit) from the Microsoft site
The machine has a Spanish language Windows 7 Home premium OS.
Regional settings are:
Location: Argentina
Language: Spanish (Argentina)
Keyboard: Spanish (LatinAmerica)
The downloaded versions are
SQLEXPR_x86_ESN.EXE 123.479.496 bytes
SQLEXPR32_x86_ESN.EXE 109.692.360 bytes
SQLEXPRADV_x86_ESN.EXE 983.205.320 bytes
In all of these versions I receive this error when I try to install
I tried to change the local settings, from Argentina to USA, from
Spanish to English, restarted the computer, but still that error pops up.
What I am doing wrong?
How can I solve this problem?
