It's likely a corrupted index or table header. First try the index: Make sure you have a backup, of course, and take a fresh one for forensics later. Make sure that you know what all of the tags in the CDX are (the INDEX ON argument as well as any FOR or unusual clauses like UNIQUE). Also, any declared relations as they can disappear when the tags are removed.
