I recently replaced my aged Zyxel P660 router with a later model - AMG1202 but have been having problems setting up port forwarding for SSH. I finally gave up and called the UK support number. After an acceptable wait I was put through to an engineer who couldn't see the problem from his side so had me install a Teamviewer client. He patiently went through my setup and found the problem: finger trouble as usual (192.169... instead of 192.168.. in one of the firewall/ filter rules). So full marks to Zyxel support and slap on the wrist for me for forgetting rule 2 (Rule 1 check what you've changed; Rule 2 it's something simple and obvious that you're not seeing because you've looked at it too many times and anyway you convinced yourself it was something complicated!
