My confusion:

Many sticks come with the same specs. To my surprise, one from Kingston and one Crucial are listed under my machine.

Do I conclude that just because a stick has the correct specs, it will not work:

    * Module Size: 1GB
    * Package: 200-pin SODIMM
    * Feature: DDR2 PC2-5300
    * Configuration: 128Meg x 64
    * DIMM Type: UNBUFFERED
    * Error Checking: NON-ECC
    * Speed: 667
    * SDRAM Timings: CL=5

Please clarify why any stick with these specs might not work.
