Vadim Berezniker has shared a ton of valuable code with us. I used his tip on command like parameters and also shellexecute to call a pdfprint.exe to do the frx2any in the background. It works flawlessly!

The invoices print and then when they are done viewing them on the screen, the pdfprint.exe fires in the background. By the time they find the pdf in the destination folder it will be done.

Thanks everyone!

Jeff

I have a modeless form that launches a print to pdf process. I put my code in the init and return .f. but then the prg that launched the form waits for the init to take place. Instead, I want to launch the form hidden but running in the background and return to the prg immediately. What is the best way to do this. This form prints a report to pdf and I don't want the user to have to wait for it.

TIA
