I'm wondering if anyone else has the need to change the permissions of a COM object to allow it to access data off the computer it is installed in.
This works in XP, Vista, and 7. I'm unable to find the registered COM object in Windows 8. Any suggestions? I've started both from the System32 and the SysWOW64 folders.
