... which is a shame in some ways as they at least presented a level playing field so people could get rich content in browsers without the staggering amount of complication and heartache that is involved in doing it with HTML/CSS/Scripting. In other ways of course these plugins present their own problems. But ultimately one would hope that the future lies in HTML5 and Javascript, if HTML5 ever makes it out the door. > java applets are almost dead.
