I use State Farm for homeowner, fire, car, etc for many years and get a
good rate. . I work a lot at home so I also have business coverage for
my computers that would cover all my losses. It also has some coverage
for cell phones and my laptop when I am at a meeting. You might check
into that with your insurance.

Wondering if any of you are using 3rd party warranty services like
SquareTrade.com for your laptops, tablets or mobile phones and if so
what your experience has been. In particular, I'm considering a
SquareTrade accidental coverage warranty for my new MacBook Pro ($350
for 3 years) and Kindle Paperwhite ($25 for 2 years via Amazon). Would
appreciate hearing your thoughts on why you would or wouldn't purchase
these coverages.
Thanks and happy new year to all on this list!
