I am looking into Norton. I don't know why anyone puts that rubbish anywhere near a pc since dos days. I have had problems with 2000 and XP with write ahead cache and turning it off stopped data loss. But I'm not sure win 8 has the same issue Al
-----Original Message----- Personally I have never had to touch anything to do with caching on any version of Windows since the 95/98/ME. If it keeps happening I would be trying to establish what else is accessing it. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/000b01cf434d$1d8b87a0$58a296e0$@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
