On at least one occasion US authorities forced ICANN to redirect queries to
a particular website to a law enforcement one and no, it wasnt porn, it was
some CD pirate site. Moving it from under US jurisidiction is a good idea.
Given recent revelations it could hardly be considered reasonable to assume
that the US supports internet freedom.
