When I first setup the report I have been working on I added vertical lines between columns and had them stretch with the data without a problem. Somewhere during my adventures with data groupings the lines stopped stretching.
The lines simply come down a row or two and then disappear. I discovered that when one of the lines is selected the properties that control the stretch setting are greyed out so they can't be changed. I thought that must be the problem so I opened the FRX file as a database and changed the stretch properties on the objtype 6 records. When opened in the report writer the stretch properties are turned on but the fields stay greyed out and the lines on the report don't stretch. Does someone have an explanation? Work around short of starting over?
