yep, but you're forgetting the heat of the battle. they're getting hit from every direction at once, including probably imbibing their favorite beverage. Or they get called away to put out another fire, and leave somebody watching it that knows even less than they do.
three tables, items and sold are identical. bidders has bidder number, bidder name, bidder phone number just want to grab those three fields and add them to the items table, and then copy it all to the sold table and then mark it deleted in the items table. got everything running now except for the column 4 check, and I will probably break out the books on that later, but first I've got to get cleaned up, go down and have a beer with them and install what I have so far on their laptop as for laughing, I have learned the hard way that there is still a very large portion of the world population that cannot program their vcr clock so I try to keep it KISS and bullet proof when possible.
