Maybe set the textbox value to datetime()+1800 at the end timer event code.

Subject: Datetime() on form question

I have a form that doesn't do much. It just reports a data call and the
results every half hour in an edit box. There is a timer on the form that
executes an external exe.

I would like to display a datetime() on the form so the user can see the
next data call. Just putting a datetime() in a textbox will show the same
time it was initiated so I need to refresh it.

Is the best approach an additional timer to refresh the datetime() testbox?
If so, how often? Every second? Minute?

TIA for your ideas.
