Hi Folks, In my vfp apps in a form I generally have a Add & Edit button along with navigation buttons. On clicking on Add btn say an append blank is issued. The caption of Add & Edit button changes to Save & revert...........
How are you all approaching this with back end servers. Say to enter data to a table having about 10 fields. In some apps I have seen a form with blank controls. The user enters data and click on a Insert or Add Rec. or Save button. To edit a record there is a Find button & on retrieving the records make changes and click on Save or Update button. Your inputs will help me to get the approach right.
