several versions). Installed the pre-requisites okay, but went to install
VFP7 and got the error message,

I'm still running VFP7 here on a windows 7 pro machine but only 32 bit.
Just a WAG here but check the prerequisites that need to be installed.
Maybe there are 64 bit versions or just newer versions you can install
before VFP7
