Dear Dan:
Thank you.
I am almost there.
A new window did open up.
- You have chosen to open Slides.pdf
- [source of PDF]
- What should Firefox do with this file?
- Open with. . . ..
- Save File
I am looking to have it just open in a second window. Lacking a PDF
Viewer, a message would pop up:
It appears you don't have a PDF plugin for this browser.
No biggie... you can <a href="Slides.pdf">click here to
download the PDF file
In other words, how to combine the Attrib Tag with the Object Tag:
<object data="Slides.pdf" type="application/pdf" width="100%" height="100%">
<p>It appears you don't have a PDF plugin for this browser.
No biggie... you can <a href="Slides.pdf">click here to
download the PDF file.</a></p>
</object>
