Yes, I guess you're right, 5-10 minutes is too short. But we have people
who leave their desks unattended for long periods and clog up the system
(my client uses a relatively old computer with a windows 2003 server and
would rather not invest in better hardware). As a matter of fact, this
country is in the middle of a recession and businesses try to save every
penny. I'm lucky, they still pay my fees (cross my fingers)
I will negotiate with management as to what is a reasonable waiting time
before someone's system is shut down.
