I have a customer running a program i wrote in 1990 in fox for dos with a dos os, he has installed the program on a new machine running win xp. the problem is now the program stops and waits for 5 minutes. I went over today and ran the program interactively and found the program was stopping at random spots. The thing I noticed was the speed of execution, it was fast. I'm wondering if the machine is too fast. Any one have a suggestion on how to slow the machine, or anything to suggest why the program pauses. Thanks Jerry
