Good Evening Ted: Thanks so much for this solution! I remember way back that these samples existed but unused by me and obviously I forgot about them. The scripting host has worked well for me in lots of instances but not this time. I will let you know how it worked in my application. I'll no sooner get the system working in Windows 8.1 then start thinking about Windows 10... Best regards Jack
