Hi - --- - Please some help on getting me started on this. I have a client for web work who is stuck on this idea:
-- the client is a membership association. They want the logos of their members to scroll on their web site "home" page, sort of like a marquee. The staff folks have already gathered the logos and made them all the same size. -- ideally, they come up randomly, so one member isn't highlighted more than another. So, this is a programming situation, as opposed to some static Flash object or something. So far, the logo files are just in a folder, but I could add the file names and paths into a table. I search. I see Action Script in Flash. I see possible Java approaches. Maybe JavaScriipt? Ideas? Suggestions? Search terms? (Searching is hard as I just get a bunch of links showing how to create an animated gif.) I would deeply appreciate any ideas you have to get me kicked down the road a couple of blocks.
