Here someone has a simple application to throw a relay on-off based on a temp probe reading. I am considering doing likewise but having a data table of various temps to hold for fermentation of my beer instead of coming out daily to change my current control.
http://www.homebrewfinds.com/2015/02/reader-tip-raspberry-pi-for-temp-control-automation-digital-kegerator-more-33-99.html This is all done in python and pretty easy because it is a non complicated system. I have a friend who has done a few of these and after this work death march is over we are making my new controller.
