Wes, There are good ways to do it without either dongles or encryption simply using VFP. I wrote a class that I think is still on Leafe.com which binds the PC Chip ID along with the Hard Disk ID (Both unique) and then sends out an email to yourselves asking for a password to unlock the software. This password can be a "for life" or a limited time password or in fact a temporary trial password to evaluate the software and all in pure VFP with source code.
