I should have supplied more context. Mike was a long-time FoxPro developer, consultant and writer. He had worked professionally in journalism in Detroit. He was an active member and past organizer of the Chicago Fox group. He was a five-time winner of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award (1994-2000), a contributing writer to FoxTalk, a regular attendee at Fox conventions. He was one of the principals in RDI, later Geneer.
