FoxInCloud provides a much easier and safer path to move desktop apps to the web: 1- adapt your VFP code and clone GUI in HTML/CSS/JS (automated) - your app works in either web or desktop mode
2- if not already, push data to a SQL database
3- migrate server-side events to another language such as .net or .php (one by one, no need to migrate everything at once)

my belief is that, with whatever tutorial yo may have, a full, 100%, overnight conversion of a desktop app to the web is much too high a step for most VFP-based companies or developers.

This is an overly complex issue that more of you may be apart of. This is
a tools company for .NET add ins so there is a push of their tools to make
you life easier in the full webinars.

They have 3 tiny lead in webinars that do give you a concept of the
ENORMITY that this title really represents. Design in the web is a great
deal different then for desktop. Managing change is all you will be doing
and now in a storybook instead of hard code to user. Last one Migrate from
desktop to Web, helps define the new separation between UI and code to make
UI work.

I don't care what OS/Language you use. Getting a head on these issues is
the hardest thing in migrating to the new ether of the web from the
standard desktop environment.

I do not USE their tools personally.

You can get to the full webinars after registering, so no cost to learn
more.

For those who look into this I hope you enjoy and take away some potential
points when dealing with your clients today as well as tomorrow.
