To be honest - I didn't really know much about Dabo. I have heard folks on the
forum here bringing it up. And, I know that Ed was directly related to the Dabo
effort - and now I see its Ed and Paul McNett.

After reading the article about M$ - I didn't know how it related to Dabo. So -
I tried searching for a Wiki on Dabo - and found that Dabo is actually a
Japanese RapStar! So - Ed - does that mean during your Off-time you listen to
Japanese Rap? Or you Paul?? I'm dying to know!

But, yes - I found your Dabo Wiki Ed. And, then I saw why Mike claimed M$ was
competing w/Dabo - since it Is a Dev. framework. But, it seems - other than
being cross platform - they still differ. I believe the M$ one runs different
underlying code (although the online article was not specific) - and I assume
its maybe C# or some other such. Where as I see that Dabo is purely run based
upon Python - or wxPython to be more specific.

And - I don't really know if Alan is correct with his assumption - that the M$
tool looks to be a pure code generator - as I couldn't quite tell from the
online article - even though I read that Dabo DOES let you create forms
w/various controls. But - if so - it may help Dabo stand out from the M$ tool.

Nice, looks like more of a Sublime Text affair, a pure code editor as opposed
to an IDE.
