That bothered me a little. They point out that it's balanced so you can raise it with one hand, but then they point out it can hold 160 pounds. That makes me think it might not raise so easily with a computer, two monitors, and 30 pounds of books and papers on the top of it. I like the idea of the electric motor lift, even though it's more money.
