Alan Thanks for your suggestion.
Yes it is blocked - VFP only regains control if the application can be made visible and the dialog is closed. I am thinking about a switch that will allow the application to be visible (rather than the default NOT visible). -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alan Bourke Sent: 12 June 2015 11:23 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: OLE Automation - This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy Hmmm ... I suspect your best bet might be to create a timer and use the Windows API to go through all active window handles checking for the one in question. I don't know if VFP would be in a blocked state at the point of the dialog being shown though. http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?group=83&function=136 http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?group=83&function=906 -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
