Ha! I hear ya Stephen!

I didn't get my hands on a computer until 17 - when my high school offered the
very 1st course ever - mainly on an Apple II - a course in BASIC. I'm surely
jealous of the kids today - who have Easy access to computers - and can start
computing at a Super Young age.

I actually taught my son Binary & Hex numbers, and doing math in those number
systems - back when he was about 7 or 8. And, I think it was about a year ago I
was trying to show him how to program in Basic - as I found a real Simple type
of Basic I could install on my laptop. Maybe it was called Simple BASIC - I
forget. It's still on the laptop - but, I just can't play with it now at work.
I wish I could have gotten my son more interested in programming - and at least
dabbling in it. Although - he's already taken SEVERAL Classes - in these summer
ID Tech camps - I believe in like JavaScript - I think. And, some other classes
on weekends - I think at a local college - classes for gifted kids - and I
think he may have been doing some Java, some HTML and maybe a little bit of CSS
- or something like that. And, that was about a year ago or so. FYI - he will
be turning 14 this coming July 11th.

And - I just saw the video - at least the beginning. The woman interviewer sure
is kinda hot! But, the Kid - Dang - smart young kid - can believe he is
actually a "Professional" Developer already at the age of 15 - and is juggling
MULTIPLE Projects! Jeepers - does the kid NOT attend school??? I didn't finish
watching the video - but, I will - and I may have already answered my own
question once I watch the rest...
