I agree with Dave. There is an impressive amount of talent in this group. Each one of us has our specialties and experience. My experience is over 22 years. SET PROCEDURE is not something everyone does every day and Man-Wai's query is welcomed by almost everyone here. Chances are, our help with Man-Wai's question will answer the same question for many of us. Also, you will find numerous different solutions to the problem.

Having said that, Man-Wai is one that I follow all the time. He has helped me with many situations and your characterization of him tells me you haven't been spending much time here.

To wrap up this thread, "the problem is that this guy was to lazy to investigate the problem using all previous answers..." is of no benefit to the members of this list.

We have all been through the "what you see, not what you think you see"
syndrome at some point.

Surely we are here to help any bona fide request for assistance. You can either
ignore the request and move on or try to help... simple... However, what is
obvious to some isn't obvious to others and Man-Wai did take the trouble to
post the code, which in itself is more than many do.

So, at the end, the problem is that this guy was to lazy to investigate the
problem using all previous answers, between which this one about SET PROC
closing previous private was answered at the beginning.

He just patiently waited that some one fixed his code.

I don't like his attitude, and in future I'm not answering his future messages.
