I'm now trying to do a summary report with the three independent cursors.
The cursors are not related at all - simply convenient storage for variable
Descriptions and Amounts Again I was assuming I could add bands to let me
start over as one cursor is finished and I start the next. So far it looks
like this can't be done either. Is this a dead end or am I missing
something?
It can be done using VFP report writer, which can have multiple detail
bands, but I'm not sure that is the way to go. If the data in these
cursors is not related then why not have 3 different reports? The
multiple detail bands would still be related to each other E.g. a report
showing clients, then sales history in one band, then account balance
and payment history in another. The two bands are still related by the
client. Maybe you could expand on what kind of information you have in
the cursors and where it came from?
